A play on the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City box art. I had done this two semesters ago for my Design 1 class, and I just got it back recently. This was also my first time working with acrylic paints. Also, the thing was too big to fit on the scanner bed, so I had to scan it in sections... sorry 'bout that. :)

I also forgot to add, I changed the RockStar logo into my initials. I guess I did it as a kind of signature. ^^; Seemed like a good idea at the time...

I also want to add that this is a very sarcastic view on how people seem to think the GTA series causes kids to go out shooting each other. I, for one, do not believe in such a thing, and I find it stupid that people would even consider a video game is the source of violence. If that's the case, how come we had two world wars before the Atari came out...? :roll:

When I first saw this, I could not help but laugh since it was an obvious play on GTA in general, also the fact it seams that a number of incidents have the entire GTA serries set to blame at some point in some form. I can't say this for everybody, but I know realty enough to figure not even half the stuff done in GTA is something you could get away with... the violent stuff anyway (not to mention some games like 'The Getaway' give you some idea of what you would do in GTA that would get you killed IRL, such as how easy it is to die when you are hit by a car for one in 'The Getaway'...), it's preaty good, well done, I did notice where you could and could not scan all at once but well, nobody is perfect. I can't figure what else to say that's off about it.

Dunno what else to say, this made me laugh a bit, nice job there.

Thanks! :D I'm hoping I can get a better pic of it up. But yeah, that was the general idea behind it. When I had done this, it was San Andreas that was under fire because of some idiot kids that were caught putting graffiti on the side of a building, and they blamed it on GTA, even though there's another game out that's rated E that contains graffiti (Jet Set Radio, anyone?!) :roll:

Ya welcome, heh, people are willing to balme anything but their own judegment at times on stuff like that, again, they always seam to try and put a blame on GTA or some other controversal game. And some had similar problems with JSR, the most obvious being graffiti. It'll happen so long as there's something to somehow blame. And well, again, ya welcome.
